Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth. Your existing teeth are used to literally create a bridge to cross the area where your tooth is missing. Bridges are made from gold, metal, alloys, zirconia or porcelain to ensure that they are strong and durable.
The existing teeth next to the space are recontoured and a mold is taken of the area. Records are taken of how the teeth fit together, and what their color shade and contour is. A bridge is designed and made that will fit properly and feel as close to your natural teeth as possible.
To protect your teeth, a temporary bridge is made to cover the area while the bridge is fabricated by our dental lab.
If you are missing a tooth, consider having it replaced. Having missing teeth can cause structural changes to your mouth and jaw, can increase the chewing stress on adjacent teeth, can also result in their shifting, and can make it more difficult to eat or speak properly. Having a missing tooth replaced can dramatically change a person's life and appearance.
